good question. on amazon the photos make it seem tight fitting like boxer briefs. with 5% elastane it should be tighter and stretch. for less than $2 a pair, its worth the risk. i'm more concerned about that one white pair - haven't had white draws since elementary!

There's a sizing chart on the Amazon product page. You can look at that to get an idea of what size you need.

I never follow sizing charts when it comes to underwear. I like it loose by most people's standards. It has more breathability that way. I am a 30 waist but usually wear a large for boxer briefs. I would do a medium if it was like a standard boxer shorts. My thighs are relatively big.

I bought medium last week and it runs large, but I don't know if a small would have been better for me The short version is relatively form-fitting, and not very tight, but not loose like a traditional boxer. The cotton material is very silky and slick feeling -- enough to make me wonder if it really is 95% cotton. Waistband is wider than it needs to be. I don't know how much they will shrink after washing, but I hope they do.

I love how there's no writing on the waistband. Never understood why companies feel the need to put the brand in huge letters on the waist.
