About this item:
  • Bosch HEPA Premium Cabin Air Filters are designed and tested to meet High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) standards based on ISO 29463-3:2011 and provide filtration efficiency of 99.97% at 0.3 microns

Unfortunately I have not had good experience with these for our Kia Optima. They restrict airflow so much that the evaporator freezes up. Just sharing my experience...

Are you sure you are putting them in the correct way? If you insert it in the wrong way that happens as I had a car that was blowing cool misty smoke because I had it in the wrong way.

agreed, sounds like the filter was installed backwards.

Same here for our Forester. The airflow on max was nil. It was a cold day and the cabin never fully warmed up. These are way too restrictive.

I bought one for my Subaru Forester a couple years ago and ended up tossing it. The filter is too slim/flimsy for how restrictive it is. It ended up getting sucked up towards the fan so that air bypassed the filter. If I remember correctly, it whistled, too. Definitely don't recommend it.

Don't see charcoal listed on it anywhere, which is making me skip this. Too bad. I generally like Bosch stuff.
