As of today, I can confirm this works on hulu, Disney+, and Peacock; there can be cat-and-mouse games from time to time.
And, if you are using a google email address, you don't actually need a separate email account and can use their + trick. Example: if your email is [email protected], you can sign up as [email protected] - - the websites will treat this as a new account address, but gmail will deliver the email to the main account, ignoring the "+2025" part.

This deal SUCKS
I got on the year-long $3/month deal last year and the ads were so frequent and unbearable that I eventually just cancelled outright. $3/month with that many ads is just a ripoff. $5/month with ads is a MEGA RIPOFF. Hulu and Disney don't deserve your money.
