Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Anyone know of any travel sites that can utilize this? Only big ticket I'm considering is a trip to Hawaii but not seeing this as a payment processor for most of the sites/tools I use for booking
I've gotten it to work on Expedia. Not every time but most of the time. Select a room and then get to the payment process. If you have any stored payment methods they will show up in column form on the lower left side. Sometimes there will also be an option to use PayPal.

Once PayPal is selected then typically two boxes will pop up on the next step. The left box will be an option to pay now. That box will describe that a coupon can be used and also that PayPal is available. The other box is pay later at the property in their accepted method of payment.

After choosing the pay now box then you'll be rerouted to your PayPal. I had Pay in 4 more often than not. When it was there, they all went through.

In fact, I actually went back and canceled prior Expedia bookings and duplicated them seconds later using Pay in 4. I had two tabs open, one to my prior booking and one to the identical reservation ready to go. I made sure the same hotel, same date and equal or better room and price were available. If so, I canceled the old booking then redid it using Pay in 4. Fortunately I had all the particulars written down of my old bookings.

Mmm did a Seagate 28tb purchase and the total was $307, but pay 4 is going to charge me 78x4 = $312, I guess there is a fee somewhere? But 20% is worth it, but weird it says no fees no interest.

Yep.

I just don't see pending point disappearing or issues points being clawed back.

Unless our friend alerted the team to put a stop to it going forward.

We'll see if gc purchases continue to result in pending points.
It's "2025", you don't think Paypal is not aware users are not reading the T&C and purchasing g.c.'s? And the great thing about g.c. for PP is they're non-refundable. Maybe they'll be generous and just forget about their own T&C this year 🤣

You need to click on Paypal. Then a lil window will pop up.
Right that's what I'm doing, but only see the options for my credit cards, bank account and the PayPal Credit. Scrolling down past that is my shipping address, no option for Pay in 4 on the Samsung website nor the Samsung Shop app.

My PayPal offer is still available and it increased the spending limit from $2000 to $2400, still unused. Trying to buy the Fold 7 for $1350, so it's within that limit.

Tried it with my wife's PayPal account and she uses Wells Fargo and not seeing the option either. We both have the PayPal Pay in 4 offer saved in both our PayPal accounts but it's not working with Samsung on our end even though others have no issue with Samsung.

Kinda stumped at this point. Anyone have other advice? Should I try using a VPN to change locations?

Samsung works. I just bought a S25 Ultra unlocked 512gb for $849 plus tax and got $182 in cashback pending already and used honey for another $75 cashback plus BOA rewards card for another 5.25% cashback as well. Will flip the s24 Ultra to recoup some of the cost to help with my upgrade.

Paypal completely screwed me over, Hit me with a "unusual activity" bs for no reason, by the time I talk to an agent or "it comes back on its own" like others have stated, the sales going to be gone or the item I want it gonna be sold out Frown

This is what I have done today at Discount Tire, which has online PP button for payment. Went smoothly and shows up already as pending reward. Only forgot that there are cashback options 3% for DT and clicked autopay x 4 from checking account, when I need to spend $$ on a new Amex card.
3 days ago I ordered a set from tires-easy via 5% portal, Pin4 linked to 2% Wells Visa, MIR.
They arrived via Fedex yesterday at my home.
I immediately greeted the driver.
Driver: Where should I unload?
Me: In front of my garage doors. (pointing 100 feet from the curb.)
Driver: OK. Will do!

I was shocked at the excellent service.

Note: DT/Tirerack price: $170 ea. My net price: $45 ea.

I spent a long time putting together an order through Walmart, chose pay in 4, and thought all was good. The Walmart screen said thank you for your order and told me how much money I saved. But Paypal showed "points pending" with no number next to it. Then I checked email, and I had an email from Walmart saying they canceled my order. And I had to log back in to Walmart and was forced to change my password. Sure enough, everything shows canceled. Reordered everything and used pay in 4 again, and exact same thing happened. So I tried again, but I just chose 3 items (all to be shipped), and this time, after choosing Pay in 4, the Paypal screen says it can't authorize me. And then, I had a new paypal message about usual activity. My previous 3 orders, including one at Walmart, went off without a hitch, but something is up now.

And those pending points still show over $800 each (over $1700 combined), so that's probably counting against my $5000 limit until those clear off. Fortunately, I'm still well under the limit. Hopefully, this clears up soon. I need to spend more money.

Edit: Chatted with a human from Walmart. He said, "Thank you for your patience. I've checked the details and I would like to let you know that our automated security system may have cancelled your order in error. The security check is there to protect your account and payment methods. We apologize if this causes any problems."

Walmart gave me a $5 promo code. Anyway, so I'll be waiting until the option returns. Frustrating.

It's driving me nuts since people are getting it to work and I've followed all the steps that others have mentioned.

My total after taxes is below $1500, so it shouldn't be hitting a cap.

Does PayPal 20% back deal require using link in PayPal 20% back offer to qualify? I tried , but didn't find best buy is listed in the vendors supporting pay later. Terms said use the link from PayPal. I am confused.
I want to buy iPad on bestbuy, but no bestbuy listed on the link of the pay later list in the PayPal offer link.
Should I just go to bestbuy to select PayPal pay later when checking out on bestbuy?

After saving 20% offer from Paypal invitation, just select PayPal pay later when checking out on bestbuy.com.

I see PayPal pay later button on checkout but how do I confirm this is pay later as both buttons at checkout on PayPal and pay later take me to sane screen with checkout showing my credit card selected. If anyone has a screenshot that would be great
