Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

For those that already received their rewards payout, did you redeemed your points right away or still waiting for remaining points to clear out?
I redeemed my first set of points right away and sent them to my checking account to pay for the next round of Pay in 4.

They changed the offer. No longer Pay in 4 only. Can do Pay Monthly. I was approved for that. Says still a soft inquiry.

Bought Embody with monthly payment. How long does it takes for point to show up on your account?
I see the pending points with no exact amount showing up pretty much right after the purchase, but it did show that I used this 20% cashback offer.
I see the pay in 4 confirmed and the exact points confirmed roughly 36 hours after the purchase.

What happens if you return the item but already cashed out your points?

Can you use a gift card in conjunction with PayPal & still activate the offer?

(Trying to bring the price down to where the PayPal deal will activate but don't want to get stuck with gift cards if it doesn't work)
Yes, but you will only get points on the portion paid with Pay Later.

I'm in the same boat. My promo doesn't say completed anywhere, and seems to indicate I still have it saved and available. It didn't tell me I have any points coming from a $98 Pay in 4 purchase from Ticketmaster.
Check all the way at the bottom of the rewards offer page...it should show pending...

Has anyone tried this with pay monthly? If yes, did it work? That is the only option as PayPal for some reason doesn't show pay in 4 option citing unusual activity.

Does anyone know which credits cards work with Pay in 4 with Paypal?
I have heard that Chase cards and some others don't work. While Bank of America cards do work.
Does SOFi or Wells Fargo work? Any other credit card that works? Thanks.

how did you get it to work, i went to the apple store app add the iphone 17 pro max and when i go to payments i don't see paypal as an option. I have added paypal to my iphone apple account.
Same for me, says "Items in your order are not eligible for this payment method. Please select another form of payment.". Have tried on Chrome and Safari, logged in to my Apple account.

Try them and see. If you don't have a compatible card, you just won't be able to proceed. I used BoA.

so you get points to use to buy stuff later or convert points to cash and get a payout to your bank account?

Points posted so far between two PP accounts (orders placed 11/19 but i am not sure when the points posted as I havent checked in a few days at least) - one order on one account was for $2000 and i got $250 back (even though the pending points were higher). The other order on the other account was for a gift certificate and the points (earned $172 for it) actually posted for that. I have a few more transactions that are still pending for the same PP account (exceeding $250 cumulatively) and am guessing I will get hard capped at $250 as well once everything goes through
