So we had an Asian "Night Market" fair in Pasadena, CA, today. This was the turnout. Everyone who went hated it bc of the packed crowd.

Yup, notice all the dark hair people=Asians. With a few speckles of white/other people. It was packed like this 30 mins before the event started at 5pm until it closed at 11pm.

Terrible city and committee planning. They closed off ONLY one block of a street for 80~ vendors in an area populated by like 50+% Asians in 7 cities. All Asian in this ethnic enclave and other cities all over LA came together for the fair. They didn't even have enough cops on duty for it.

Probably not. But there was stinky tofu (tofu that's been deep-fried until it smelled like poo or something) and octopus balls.

I didn't go. Before I left for the fair, I was warned by a friend who was already there when it started and she said "Don't come. Don't come! It's not worth it. You can't walk around and you definitely can't buy any food."

It was crazy. All over everyone in LA's FB newsfeed and twitter was complaints about the 626NightMarket. People took 1-1.5 hour to drive just 5 miles, all street parking was packed for blocks, had to pay $4 to park, then walk to the location, get there to see the packed street, and they ALL just turned around and just went home.
