Does this perform as good or better in 4k than the 9070xt yes. But please be informed AMD is going to make an announcement on FSR Redstone in December thisbis their answer to NVIDIA DLSS. FSR Redstone is only available on the 9 series of cards just like FSR4 meaning that the 7 series cards just like FSR4 wont be getting FSR Redstone. This is a big deal if you are one that prefers high FPS to match your high refresh rate display, choose wisely.

True. This is only a great deal if anyone really needs the higher VRAM I suppose.

I have this same model from Powercolor along with the Sapphire Nitro version of the 7900XTX also, its a fantastic card. If you are playing MS 20204 the 24 gb VRAM really gets maxxed out at 4k Ultra and higher (5k, 12k etc). I had once bought a Powercolor 9070 XT Red Devil but returned it, 16 gb vram wont cut it for MS 2024. I would rather get the extra Vram over RDNA 4 for my use cases.

Re the coupon it did not show up for me, but if it does work for others definitely grab it.

Like-new is on their warehouse sale today for 30% off. Wound up getting that one, ~$550. Don't really need the VRAM, but seems like a great deal.

Sweet Jesus, this is a great deal; however, the only thing we might lose by buying used-mint in my case is possibly the manufacturer warranty.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the original versions of this GPU suffered from the manufacturer defect known as thermal paste pump-out, which was corrected in later editions via PTM7950. However, there is no way to know, from my understanding, what version you'll receive, as nothing on the box or card verifies whether it is a new or old version. So, we'll have to contact PowerColor North American support directly via email at [email protected]. An official PowerColor representative (publicly identified as u/PowerColorSteven) on Reddit has confirmed this is the correct and only procedure. We must provide the card's serial number and request a check to see if it is from a batch that includes the factory-applied PTM7950 material because if it's old stock the cards will fail early on in their usage so we will need to do the upgrades ourself to cure the pump out defect if we get one that hasn't been upgraded.

Yeah thats a really good price as well. I purchased my Powercolor 7900XTX from Microcenter open box for $600, though it was 4 months ago. Enjoy your new card.

They replied right away to me btw and said if I get them the serial number, they'll check if it's a newer card with the fix applied. Thank you for the recommendation!
