Purchased this Kobalt 8-in Serrated Molded grip Scissors last year and really liked it. They are heavy duty scissors. Went back and purchased 2 more (one as a gift). I think it was on sale at about this price then also.

I think it has to do with cities' sales tax rate. Ive noticed cities with high sales tax rates prices are a few bucks less. After taxes its actually lower probably make it more competitive so customers dont all flock to nearby stores with lowest retail price...who know.

2 heavy duty scissors are great deal with lifetime warranty.
