I am not able to place iphone order on Apple Shop when I try to use $1200 apple balance from gift card loaded from target-amazon-bestbuy.

their help is not good either. Anyone knows the reason for this? For Texas?

sorry it happened to you. I had similar experience in the past (also 5 cards) and they had not been redeemed after I purchased. Apple support was able to lock them and later retrieved the codes to me. 2nd time it happened to me on 2 cards, Apple was completely being a jerk and asked me to wait for 10 business days and nobody was doing anything. At the same time, scammer was able to redeem one of the 2 cards. Target was able to reimburse me for both cards later.

Yeah don't know why I assumed this was good through today. Only needed 2 of them for a planned apple store purchase. Should have looked at this last night.

Amazon deal appears to still be live, but not as good since it's a weird promo credit and only 1 per account. But better than nothing.

That's good to know that you were able to get your money back. I went to target and they had me called their customer service and gave me a case number. They said they will investigate and get back to me in 2 - 7 business days.

When I asked apple support how to prevent this from happening again. They suggested once I got the card, load them in my itunes immediately. If the card was tampered, call apple support immediately and usually the scammers haven't got a chance to redeem the card.

I had the same issue, I just went to the Apple Store and paid using my gift card balance via Apple Pay

Been dealing with this for years and this is the first time I've ever went into my Wallet to see the Apple Card containing the Apple account balance. Thanks for mentioning this.

If you use the actual gift card, yes. If you load the gift card to your Apple account, that entire balance can be used. I've purchased iPhones and iPads using my balance which was built by loading up gift cards. FWIW.

I just do not see the great deals on Apple gift cards like there used to be about 5 years ago.

Recent history, is a deal like this ($15 store card after buying a $100 Apple card) about the best it has been lately?

This actually did not work even in store. Couldnt get any help in store.
After 3-4 times of calling Apple, spending total 3 hours or sth through the phone, got directed to customer service and they put up a request that resolved in like 12 hours. Most associates weren't able to even see a flag in my purchase attempts or accounts but apparently it was a security hold on my apple balance.
Btw using this campaign one of my Chase cards started to decline buying gift cards without any text or notification. Later called them and opened it up again too. Gift card business apparently have too many frauds and sometimes criminally forcing people to buy GCs.
