Already replaced two of these under warranty due to battery failure. Pretty well documented if you do a quick search. Buyer beware.

If anyone is on the fence about these, I would only get them if you don't already have a smart watch. The capabilities of the Samsung ring are incredibly limited and the only thing they can do with your actual phone is taking photos/turning off alarms if you double pinch with your thumb and whatever finger the ring is on. But even if you don't already have a smart watch for things like sleep tracking, step counts, HR monitor, etc, I'd recommend the ultrahuman ring over this. This is also a bitch to find if you ever lose them as the only tracking capabilities these have is a tiny little green light that will shine when you activate the search feature. For some reason despite being a billion dollar company, Samsung doesn't have the capability to put useful tracking abilities into this ring.

Got one for 87 in 7 it is small but i want to try just to see if i like it even on pinkie lol, had $5 expiring promo certificate too. Any other rings to consider? Especially for iPhone as I would have to get a samsung phone to test this with and use eventually but I much rather not if possible.
What ring size are you normally? Trying to gauge my size

Yeah I'm seeing huge decrease in battery life by half. Only been 6 months. I think need to call instead of using chat support they are slow in response. End up just leaving the chat.

Strongly recommend avoiding these rings, especially if it's an older model (2024). Bought one back in 2024 and the battery life is completely shot. Won't last a day. Unfortunately it's outside of the one year warranty so I have a dead ring. Thx, Samsung!

I remember that story about someone's finger getting caught with a swollen battery. I think I'll stick with watches.

Can anyone recommend a ring ? Oura or Samsung or something else? which is better ?
If they're on a Samsung phone, the Galaxy Ring makes sense, but for deeper health and sleep tracking the Oura Ring is still the more accurate and proven option.

I got a return from Best Buy back on March 3, 2025. It's now Nov 23, 2025 and I've starting to have battery issues. Would charge it up to 100%, go to sleep, wake up and it's 0%. Other times a day later it's dead. I now have to constantly charge it to make sure it works overnight.

Subscription for Oura really kills it,. I'd rather get a chinese made ring which can do even blood pressure

True, the subscription is annoying, but many cheap rings with "blood pressure" are pretty inaccurate, so you might end up with flashy features but unreliable data.

I use my Samsung smart watch, however, I also like wearing 'fancy' watches when I'm at formal events. This lets me rock my Rolex or Omega, but still sync all my vitals back to Samsung Health.

Battery is horrible. Had it a little over a year. Less than 48 hours now. Just bought an Oura with bf deal they have. I too loathe subscriptions, but I loathe non functional products more.

The open box I bought for $86 from BestBuy has the notorious battery issue. Discharges fast and only connects while in the case. I paid $55 for it as I has some certificates that we expiring. Not sure if I should try to deal with warranty or just return it.
