What would be the point of that, just to spend money? Help the economy and stock price I guess

Looks like a pretty good deal. I know sometimes Walmart has advertised a 16gb card but it was actually a 8gb card. Let's all hope for some good deals for black Friday.

Got the 5060 OC for $230 on Woot. It's good for 1080p gaming, but the lag of RAM does impact higher resolution.

Great card for this price, puts it comfortably next to the 16gb Radeon 9060 (usually around $350)

At full price the Radeon is the better deal.. but hard to pass this up when it's this close

MSI is also running a $20 rebate on many of their GPUs but this 16GB version (Shadow) doesn't seem to be in the list otherwise this would equal the 9060 XT price.

This or $340 Asus 9060XT, seem like both are great for an upgrade from 3070

I got a 3060 Ti in my 2nd PC downstairs and while I almost never game on that PC, I'm considering replacing it with this at this price.

No, not much of an upgrade from a 3070. May want to double check some reviews. I believe the 5060 TI is roughly 10-12% faster depending on the game and resolution.

Barely I would not... It's so similar unless you're using a lot of upscaling

Performance maybe not a great difference, I'm more thinking about 8GB vs 16GB, running now a 2K 144hz monitor.

Would this be a good upgrade for a Plex server that currently has a 1660?

I would go with this for Ray Tracing.

1660 should be capable of decoding x265 or any format for Plex, but yes this is plenty for your purpose.

Yeah the Plex server has been fine but some people complain of buffering. Not sure if it has to do with transcoding or not.
