480Mbps is USB2. USB3 is 5Gbps. USB3.1, USB3.2, USB4, etc are faster still. Faster cables are handy for SSDs, video, etc. and faster cables are widely available, though maybe not for dirt cheap prices.

You specifically want a USB 3.2 cable. Most these days have reverted to USB 2.0 since most people prioritize charging speed over data transfer.

Most smartphones support fast charging via USB Power Delivery, which is the PD3.1 specification in the product description.

Sure thing, poster who just joined, has no post history, and who definitely didn't make an account just to sell this specific product! Sounds like great buying advice.
So that makes it unbelievable. I own two sets of those Silkland USB-C / USB4 Thunderbolt compatible cables, both 80gbs directional- 120gbs unidirectional and 240W. I use then to charge my Samsung Cell phone, transfer data, and charge my headphones. So, before you post your ignorance go to Amazon and check them out, these are better and faster cables. Or just scroll by comment and let the other readers verify it.

Yes. And your followup posts haven't done anything to convince the world that you aren't being paid to post here. Hope that helps!

It depends on the device. Most devices charge at 65w or lower. For phones they 15w or lower.
These are not 240w and are basically garbage a little nicer cable material than many of the lowest quality cables.

are these fast charging?
i still don't understand this crap.
transfer rate doesn't matter to me. just want fastest possible charge speed.

I really need to research this stuff more. I have a plethora of cables stuffed in a drawer that don't charge fast enough.

Thank you for any help.
That's more your charger and device limit.

so are these actually 240W cables? lol. i feel like i keep buying cables labeled 240w and they charge at a quarter of what they are rated for. unclear to me when companies are reputable or not on amazon these days.
Bought and returned this, as these cables have a unique problem - they have an E-Marker chip only in one direction - meaning you get 100-240W in one plug orientation but just 60W in the other. Very odd, but borne out in other Amazon reviews as well.
