I have my eye on the WYZE Cam Pan v3. My doctor says she wants to monitor me while I sleep. My question is, can I remove the microSD card > copy over the video file > and then upload them to my doctor? Also, which format would the file be in?
Yes you can copy the videos off the SD card. The format is .mp4 video format. If your doctor wants to see them then you can upload them to YouTube with a private link that you only give to your doctor. You tube will do any video conversion necessary so doctor can view it. You can even use timelapse mode where it takes a frame shot every X seconds that you configure in case you need to monitor how often you move while sleeping etc.

I'm pretty sure you doctor is a stalker :p
I've been having oxygen problems since getting a random cold a couple months ago, 90-95% O2 while awake and 85-90% while asleep. Still going through the medical system trying to get a diagnosis. In the mean time I use my Wyze 2 and an Emay SleepO2 oximeter to monitor myself sleeping. The camera was useful to see that when my O2 reading dropped to 70% I was actually sleeping with my arm above my head so only the arm was low in O2. That explains years of arm pain. I could also see that everything was fine and stable for a while, stable heartrate, stable O2, not moving around. Suddenly my heartrate started jumping around for an hour during which time I was also tossing and turning occasionally and I was having ODI events (O2 dropping a particular amount for a particular time). I could see with the camera that when I was sleeping in one position I only had like 6 of 4% ODI events/hour, but in another position it was more than 30. That's the difference between very mild sleep apnea and severe sleep apnea. Knowing this I can try to set up pillows and stuff to stay in a safer positions, no apnea machine needed.

Litter box event? You trying to find out who else is going in there? 🤣
No joke, people need to keep track of their pets' bowel movements. Some cats don't like to go when there are people around, and if they don't go to the bathroom, it's a major concern. If you have multiple cats, you can't tell who's having bad poops and who's not unless you're sitting in front of the litter box all day.

Cameras have been surprisingly helpful. I'm making medical decisions based on who's doing what in the litter box. I discovered one cat had constipation because it was taking him over 2 minutes to poop, not something I could tell just by looking in the litter box. I was also able to tell which cat had a bladder infection with the camera: One cat had very small pees a half dozen time in 10 minutes, and then later peeing off the edge of the litter box for the first time. Another time another cat had regular size pees with a dark spot (blood) in the middle. Recently I found a poop in the middle of the floor. It turns out it they pooped in the litter box, then it clinged on as they left. Not a worrying medical condition that time.
If you think any of that's bad, you should see my photo album from the IBD cat. Nightmare fuel.

Honestly though spend the extra $5 during this sale and get the newest model. The extra resolution is very much well worth it!

Inflation is NOT at 50%

That's inflation + tariffs. I guess Chinas not paying the tariffs like Mexico didn't pay for a wall.
