Not a bad price if you need it right now but the price will get lower. Same regular price as last year at 59.99. My notes show the lowest price last year was around Jan 2 at 22.49 at newegg.

Thanks. Usually not the lowest price but now I won't be checking here once a week and wind up buying junk I'll never use. Saving me money.

Would the premium version of HR Block be equivalent to the premier version of Turbo Tax? I have a fair number of stock transactions so would this version handle that from Fidelity and Interactive brokers like the Turbo Tax Premier version? It looks a lot cheaper at $42 so it would be nice to try something different. Can it handle an import of all my Turbo Tax data from the previous year? Any input from anyone that has switched to this product is appreciated.

Believe it or not, some sites (I've been checking for about a week) are slipping in programs from prior years without a warning. That won't lead to disgruntled customers, will it? (Even worse if they don't notice it, try to file, then that would likely fail and they'd have to buy the right one last minute, no deals, and enter everything again.)
Do you want to give examples and names of sites and blogs where this is reported? I'm a bit lost. But it sounds very bad.

Let the...software deals begin. Any lower than $24, and I am pulling the plug. Tariff-ed economy; can't be too greedy. I waited and waited last year and never got the price I was looking for (the year prior, I had gotten it for $18)

Don't know if it was this user dude. But someone similar kept posting 'holddddd' through out this past Winter every time a deal like this popped up and misled me, at least. Not this time 😆

Can I install the VPN in 9 months from now?

Edit: Nevermind, it apparently sucks.

Does Fidelity still offer free premium download after your funds are at a certain level with them?

Why get this instead of using their website to file?
I guess if you trust a business with your most important personal data, then go that route.

Premium is 42.49 which is what I paid last year. Going to get it now so I don't have to wait for another sale.

Dont they have that info with this software once you file through it?

I can't promise that there isn't spying, but the company has no legitimate legal reason to suggest that they should store your personal financial data when you download, complete and then file your taxes.

If I'm wrong, I will look for a new tax software.
