So, in my opinion, you're fine, no need for the hassle. That much game for $40 is already a steal.
388 hours.
Enjoyed every second. And I STILL play when I feel like it.
If you haven't played it already, for 15$ you'd be stupid NOT to buy it.

I'd say if your teen has already played this game or other soulslike games and enjoys them, $40 is a solid price for the complete edition. If they're venturing out and trying something new, maybe cancel and get this. Soulslike games aren't for everyone.
