This could be a fantastic deal for a 144 Hz gaming display, but I'm unable to find any reviews for this TV, and the tech specs on Philips site are incomplete (possibly contradictory, where it says the maximum input resolution is 4K at 60 Hz; does that mean it supports 120/144 Hz only at 1080p?).

It's not a 3.0. Tuner. Next Gen.
They gotta cut corners somewhere to balance features and price

Phillips in general is weird, in EU market it seems like they shoot out some good TV models, have great QLED TV's with Abilight implementations, but are lacking in the U.S market. They actually started selling ambilight TV's this year at Sam's Club, but specs seem very mediocre. It seems like the brand is trying to tap into U.S market more now though, so I wonder what 2026 will have.

They crunched numbers and looked at more people streaming than watching OTA TV. So they decided to save some manufacturing costs and remove it. Thus another reason why this is the price it is

Yep, 144 at only 1080, just another marketing scam

had a philips tv for years....underrated imo
Phillips as a brand as a whole has been underrated and for good reason due to selling off the rights of the brand to private equity firms. Offerings like these would need to happen more often in order to change public perception a/b the brand.

HDMI port 3 & 4 (with HDMI 2.1 cable) supports 4k @ 144hz.

HDMI 1 & 2 only 120hz at 4k
