Listed on the homepage.
But light on details. All it says is:
  • When you switch. ID verification required.
  • Device promotion requires Unlimited Premium $60 plan.
Unclear if this requires three months of service like the online deal for $99 does.

According to previous threads you need 12 months of active service for this to be unlocked.

Not a dig on the OP, but a "cyber" monday deal being only available in-store is just ironic.

Even more so when the store would make this 110 deal become 250 at a minimum

If it's true you need 12 months of ACTIVE service to unlock this iPhone 16e then this is actually a terrible deal.

A friend of mine called Boot Mobile about this deal, and they told him it requires 12 months of service.

Metro only requires 3 months at $55 or $50 with auto pay...
Total Wireless requires 3 months at $65 a month. Phone unlocks after 60 days.

This is what AI says:Best Budget iPhone Options in 2025iPhone 16e (2025 release)Apple's newest "economy" model designed for affordability.Offers modern features like strong cameras, long battery life, and the latest iOS support.Positioned as the go-to choice for buyers who want a fresh device without paying flagship prices.iPhone 15 (2023 release, discounted in 2025)Still powerful with Apple's A16 chip and excellent camera system. Now available at lower prices, making it a strong mid-range option.Great balance of performance and cost.iPhone 14 (2022 release, heavily discounted in 2025)Reliable performance and solid camera quality.Best for those who want the lowest entry price while still getting Apple's ecosystem and updates.
It is extremely concerning to me how often people are quoting ChatGPT as a source in the most random places like a SD comment. The whole point of SD is to leverage the experience of real people to help you understand if a deal is good or not.Use it if you want to, but keep it to yourself because sharing it is useless to everyone else.

i guess the only use would be, what do you think the trade in will be for this phone? cuz $100ish buck for this phone, keep no service on it, and just use as a trade in, because i think, the locking doesn't matter much when trading in for value. (perhaps wrong about this)

Metro is 365 days and only 1 month paid, it can sit for the other 11 months or be uses as a tablet.

Yeah. Metro is 1 month, you just need to wait 365 days for it to auto unlock.

$179.64 out the door for me. I bit and visited the store. Deceptive as expected. I was charged $12 for the protection plan even when I questioned why it was so much and when asked for a breakdown she deflected. I tried contacting CS to request a partial refund and a cancellation of the protection and they said my account isn't updated yet for changes. It's $159.99 on boosts website.... I'd have come out ahead $5 if I ordered there. Hopefully I can at least get the protection plan refunded. Expect to use it as an Apple TV remote and backbone device. Won't be continuing service. Looks like there's no way around the carrier lock. At least it goes for $200 Best Buy trade credit and will likely be the same from Apple after a new "e" device releases.
