Deal Details
Listed on the homepage.
But light on details. All it says is:
  • When you switch. ID verification required.
  • Device promotion requires Unlimited Premium $60 plan.
Unclear if this requires three months of service like the online deal for $99 does.

According to previous threads you need 12 months of active service for this to be unlocked.

Not a dig on the OP, but a "cyber" monday deal being only available in-store is just ironic.
Only according to your definition.

$179.64 out the door for me. I bit and visited the store. Deceptive as expected. I was charged $12 for the protection plan even when I questioned why it was so much and when asked for a breakdown she deflected. I tried contacting CS to request a partial refund and a cancellation of the protection and they said my account isn't updated yet for changes. It's $159.99 on boosts website.... I'd have come out ahead $5 if I ordered there. Hopefully I can at least get the protection plan refunded. Expect to use it as an Apple TV remote and backbone device. Won't be continuing service. Looks like there's no way around the carrier lock. At least it goes for $200 Best Buy trade credit and will likely be the same from Apple after a new "e" device releases.
Update: I sat on the phone with CS for an hour explaining that I was deceived etc. They refunded the $12 insurance. Refused to offer a refund for the incurred activation charge or partial refund on first month's service. I am noticing the online offer says you must keep 3 months of service or you will be charged MSRP. I hope that is not the case for in store... can't find any public verbiage and surprise surprise no document from the franchise store. "iPhone 16e Store Offer: Available for new customers only. Offer valid between 11/11/25 to 12/8/25. When you switch with ID verification. Limited Time Offer. While supplies last. Only available on certain networks. Device Setup Fee up to $35 per line may apply. Excluding tax. Limit 1 device per line, Limit 5 devices per account. Required to port-in & activation on eligible plans. $60/mo. plan required. In select markets (excluding boostmobile.com or national retailers). Discount applied toward phone purchase; no cash back, credit or rain checks. Select models only, no substitutions. Customer can not down grade within 12 months. Availability varies by location. while supplies last. check store for details."The customer cannot downgrade within 12 months worries me a little.

A friend of mine called Boot Mobile about this deal, and they told him it requires 12 months of service. Metro only requires 3 months at $55 or $50 with auto pay...Total Wireless requires 3 months at $65 a month. Phone unlocks after 60 days.
Totally Wireless was super easy for me. I needed to pay for 2 months of highest service ($60) on auto pay. After the second month was paid the phone unlocked automatically around the 50th day of having the phone - nothing else needed, no calls, no magic code to plug in. I let my plan expire with my number still attached(expired by 1 day) but I still need to port my number out to a new carrier. Totally Wireless restarted my plan for 1 day at no charge to allow my porting the number out. Great customer service in my experience.

Yes, no hassles, unlocks in 2 months. Total Wireless is the Best deal for the iPhone 16e. I told my friend, and he switched to Visible for $19 a month for Unlimited service. My friend agrees & got it with Total Wireless.

I am on boost mobile now...the data is very weak and when I tried to port out, they are giving me a tough time to generate the port out PIN....they tried to convince me by giving 50% off for one month and when I declined, my call was disconnected in a couple of minutes...be careful with boost!

A usual "beware" about Boost - their CS sucks, they don't really have real/official stores, and the ones they do have are super slick sketchy. In my area their stores are in places where people barely speak English (even worse than me Smilie ) and they're always trying to rip you off. I popped into one of their stores a month ago (just to make sure I was right about getting the 16e from Metro and I was getting some cheap vegs nearby) - the total was over $250 + taxes, that's 3 months at Metro .
