IIRC, these cannot record directly to the mics themselves, you have to plug the receiver into your camera or recording device. If you're recording multi-system and combining on-camera audio with lav mic audio in your editing workflow, you might look at other options. Price is nice, though.

Yep! This is the exact reason these have stayed in my cart, but haven't pulled the trigger!
Great price for a good wireless mic system, but internal recording has saved us a few times like you mentioned, as with these:
- you can only record up to two mics per camera/phone. I've had instances where I need 5 active mics, just one cam, so had them all record internally.
- the internal recording works as a great back up. If you don't have your setting just right on cam, you might get audio peaking (too loud and distorts) so then I used the internal recordings as it usually records safer/more quiet
-- also, if there's wireless interference, it will not show up on internal recording, but will show up on cam
Id say these are great for more phone focused content creators.

maybe overkill, but this also works on Windows (for meetings, etc), right?
Actually thinking of this, I wonder if it's possible to do so hooked up to an android or ios for video conferencing. I like the portability of ear buds but the mics on those are bad. This would be nice to have if it can be used together!
