My problem with these is they don't spread the light well unless you put it in the middle of the room. Pointing it against the wall just gets you a very bright patch of the room, which isn't great for glare on TVs/monitors.

I'm always tempted by this design, but 1000 lumens isn't much, and the room will probably be better lit by an upward shining torchiere since it will distribute better and the ceiling is white.

I have 2 of these. $55 is the lowest I have ever seen them. The main benefit over the cheaper $20 to $30 versions on Amazon is the Govee application and the integration with Alexa and Google Assistant.
I also have one of the cheaper ones and it is basically the same light, but I wish it had Wi-Fi and Alexa support. Instead I have to use the included remote to turn it on and set the color I want, and I just hope I never lose or break that remote.
