Such a different movie vs theatrical. Theatrical is completely butchered and missing tons of important plot points. Director's Cut is pretty epic.

The director's cut is also on Starz, for those who got the recent Starz deal $12 for 1 year. (Still available until 12/9)

You need to scroll down on the AppleTV page and click the buy (2 versions) button, then choose the director's cut. No indication that it's 4K, though, can anyone confirm?

The roadshow version is the same as the director's cut, but also includes the overture and intermission. I have the director's cut Blu-ray and it has neither of these, just a straight shot, long movie (awesome).
The 4KUHD Blu-ray does include both cuts of the Director's Cut.
-Straight movie 3h 09 mins
-Roadshow version, 3h 13mins (Overture, Intermission (Entre'Acte) and Exit music.

I wish there was a deal on the 4k Blu-ray. 50 bucks shipped from overseas is a little high so this will have to do.

Reminds me of the directors cut of The Abyss, when I finally saw the directors cut, I was like "Why the hell would they cut THAT scene of all scenes?!"

That is very odd, I already had the Director's Cut in my Apple library and shows 3hrs 14 mins on the time, but when I click into it, the run times shows 2 hrs 25 mins which is pretty upsetting since I absolutely love this movie and have watched the full director's cut on Apple repeatedly as soon as year or so ago.
