- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.
While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.
Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29
It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Online they said it is only $300 for the order ?
Any recommendations or suggestions?
Thanks
I think the best thing to do is except for activation fees not waived, which you should reach out to chat post ordering even and ask for, wait it out and all discounts should start to apply with next bill. If not, then appeal
I asked a couple of times and they applied random promos to my next bill but no activation fee waived. Which I can live with honestly. I don't want them messing with my totals anymore (show 64 per month now somehow)

The agent did say that my next bill is just as estimate and that when it actually generates, it should calculate correctly but we will see. I'm skeptical per the above on the Plan credit, which I think it will skew things but we will see how it turns out - I fully expect to have to make another call. TAKE AWAY: my initial chat was with an offshore person who was not very honest and we got disconnect so it flipped to what seemed like a US based person and this person quickly resolved with that 'Inconvenience Credit'.
HOWEVER, I pushed to also get the $300 bill credit resolved and the conversation was very strange - she insisted that I would get a $300 gift card email in 60 days - no applying for it or anything and that my sales person had put it in for me. I asked for documentation or email and she said she could send anything. It was total BS! Then she is tried to brush me back to a Sales person - at this point not sure they will ever honor the $300 bill credit...
Can someone share their experience of getting this Credit? Call? Chat? or store visit? And what is this promotional credit called and what condition is it?
Thanks,
