Been wanting the grinder for a long time now, so finally gave in and jumped on that $89 deal late last month despite not needing more batteries. Then directtoolsoutlet offers just the grinder for $27 on BF (already opened the batteries so couldn't return), and now HD lowers their own pricing. What a roller coaster!

You can get this tool only for $37 using the BOGO battery deal from home depot. Buy the BOGO then return the batteries or decline to pick up the batteries at the pick up counter.

That's what I was thinking. Something that high powered/rpm should be brushless. I don't see it lasting a long time. But that's just me speculating. I don't own either, but I'd want brushless w batteries for $99. Then do the battery return hack. That'd be a slick deal fr fr.
