Not what I'm reading from the manufacturer page (vs. the photo example helpfully provided in the thread). The PPS mode limit per port is clearly labeled and listed online at 30W.

Did Otterbox make a model change? Did they simply label their brick correctly?

From Otterbox online:

USB-A: 5V 2.4A 12W Max
USB-C One Port in Use - PD: 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V 3A
USB-C One Port in Use - PPS: 3.3-21V 3A (60W Max)
USB-C Two Port in Use - PD: 5V / 9V / 12V / 15V / 20V 3A
USB-C Two Port in Use - PPS: 3.3-11V 3A, 3.3-16V 2A (30W Max)
https://www.otterbox.com/en-us/usb-c-wall-charger-usb-c-wall-charger---72w-white/78-80911.html

Note that this IS different from what is labeled on the product.

I would indeed read the earlier posted product picture as 30W limit in two port mode. Additionally, language in the web page reads, "Choose between a single 60W port or dual 30W ports, plus an additional 12W port for added compatibility."

Anyone buying this should assume 30W per port in two port operation. Personally, I'd take all the discrepancies above (including the missing USB-IF listing) to more simply recommend against buying the product.

Good luck!
Jon

Since most laptops need 45w+ to charge while being used, the other 2 ports are pretty redundant if you want to charge 2 devices (including a laptop) at once

(edit, why the downvotes? genuinely curious)

the object in the picture may appear smaller than they actually are.

You can. I just checked mine and the input voltage range is 100-240v 5/60hz.
Love these things, got 3 last time, might get 3 more again

If using 2 USB-C ports it's 30W max each? Am I reading that correctly?

probably one of my favorite blocks I've used. doesn't run too hot, I keep mine plugged in all the time and then travel without any issues. performance shows fast charging as well on my iPhone 17 pro max!

That's what it looks like to me as well.
If you're confused on why 2x30 doesn't equal 72, I think that's because the USB-A is dedicated 12W and isn't affected by how many USB-C ports are in use.

I got the deal 3 x $30 like 6 months ago. They work fine, however if you use peak 60 Watts for long period of time ( at least an hour) they get really hot, it felt like can burn my skin if I touch, I need to wait a few minutes to cool down before graving it. I was using it to charge a Macbook Air, so better use it for phones only...

In for another 3 pack. I bought a 3-pack of these for the same price back in May (2025). Since then i have been using them and I have no complaints whatsoever. Compact size with folding prongs makes great for throwing in my backpack. These things are solid. I actually wished I had picked up another set for that price. Glad to see it again.
