I just picked mine up for $479.99 plus tax. Here's how:
Add this Visible activation card to your cart along with the iPhone 15 the OP links to trigger a $50 off promo:

This doesn't seem like much of a deal considering you can trade in an old phone and get this for $500 from Tmobile (I assume other carriers have similar deals).

These "deals" are crazy to me. Do this and buy a 17 for $600 in two years when it's time to upgrade. Or buy a 17 brand new for the same price as both of those and be done paying it off at the same time you would be thinking of upgrading to a 17 had you bought this 15.

I understand your point and quite frankly, the only phone that I lost in a trade was the iPhone 7 Plus. $350 brand new and traded it in for $200 3 years later. I'll never buy brand new highest storage iPhone again. The baseline is good as it get to avoid deep depreciation.

Same situation (iPhone SE3 on T-Mobile) however I went for brand new iPhone 12 mini. Free! Good for 1-2 years max. trade in value may be little but I'll just keep it as an "iPod touch" and get the better iPhone and price by then.

It a very good deal for those who is too stubborn to upgrade their pre iPhone 12 and SE1, SE2, and SE3.

yep, my usual math is; is my buying price within 20% and under $100 then what I would get to trade in right now. If it is, then I'd make a move. Like, I got 16e during that $299 deal from Straight talk. After cashback and extra payment for getting it unlocked, it costed me about $320. I can sell it for about $300 right now so hopefully by the time 18 series is available, it would still be 250.

I think u will like the 15. But I understand why you want a beefier iPhone that the SE3 completely lack. I still have my SE3 as my daily driver and 12 mini as my 2ndary. The SE3 is a minimalist iPhone lol.
