  • Shark are much better than Dyson
  • Woot sell "almost new" Amazon returns, should be a good deal

Bought one new (Slickdeals deal) 2022 for $119+taxes. Great size, battery life is perfect for two rooms and 2 bathrooms. All that while running it with the turbo option. This vacuum has a regular speed and kind of a turbo/overdrive option while pressing the trigger. I most of the time vacuum with the turbo options.... regular is fine but I feel that I can vacuum faster with that option. Battery replacement are available aftermarket online (easy to replace) I'm still running on my original, I have noticed some degradation but nothing wild, maybe still holding 85%-90%. When it get hot and you try to charge it will start blinking and it won't charge, gotta let it cold down and it will charge fine (this had only happened once in all these years, not sure what my mom did but it wasn't charging after she used it, I did my research a d ended up being the battery too hot to charge. Bin is easy to clean. Only thing annoying it how to keep it against the wall, it didn't come with a hook, even though online people or even shark can sell you one. There are some nice designs if you have your own 3d printer. Thanks OP got one for my parents.

I bought a cheap battery vacuum. It's battery lasts maybe 7 minutes. I love it. Means my chores are over in 7 minutes.

I'd definately be intrested to see how much better the shark is. I get cheap used Dyson on marketplace for $25 or so and buy the adapter to Ryobi batteries and have bypassed the failed battery issue. If there's an adapter for the Shark i'd try it. Otherwise it looks like kind of a mod of a generic adapter for maybe dewalt.

Dang, I would have bought another. I've had an IX141 for the better part of 5 years. I've only taken it apart to fully clean it twice, and forget to do any maintenance on it for 6 months or more at a time (really just the dense foam air filter thing)

Can't notice any battery degradation.

This vacuum takes heaping dumps on my other battery powered stick vacuums, including a Dyson.

Missed out.
Bought a corded shark and cordless no name on BF to try out. the cord is annoying and the no name lasts maybe 10 minutes so this would've been a nice grab
