I got this last time it was on super sale, $100 IIRC and it's been great, I actually prefer it over our le creuset.

how does this compare to the amazon basics one for $30? I have one of these and the bottom surface is easy to burn but it's probably a skill issue on my part?

The staub is lighter, though it has slightly less capacity at 4tq vs 4.3 qt. The enamel is better on the staub, whereas the one from Amazon has a higher chance of cracking and chipping.
The Amazon enamel is lighter colored, so easier to see fond and how a cooks is progressing vs being more difficult to see with the black Staub.

This is the best price currently for the Staub, it's $150 everywhere else. This had been an sale for years at $99, so much for tariffs
