Thank you for always mentioning if it got a touch screen and backlit keyboard.
That helps a lot

Wish it had a backlit keyboard, but still a great deal at this price.

Any ideas on a laptop that doesn't have soldered RAM?

Because of the unbelievably high cost of RAM (brought on by the AI crowd wanting the fastest RAM) I can't find any sub $600.00 machine that just has DDR5.

The screen colors on this one posted sucks.

This one here is Snapdragon, so ARM. That means better battery life than x86 BUT less computability with windows applications. Some applications have an ARM version for Windows, though now all. The AMD will offer better performance with less efficiency. The AMD would be the better choice for playing older PC games.

I think all snapdragon X will have memory on the SOC, so not upgradeable.

Dang. I just bought the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3x that was front page. This one is $20 cheaper and includes the AC adapter.

This comment, without context, provides no value.
For what it's worth, I bought this laptop and have no issues with the Snapdragon processor. I use it for web browsing & web development. It feels as fast or faster as my work laptop, which is well specced.
