I've seen a couple of these kinds of comments recently, like people haven't been buying electronics for years and years off aliexpress. Do you think china doesn't know how to manufacture safe displays? Really?
Well, when your house burns down and the insurance company won't reimburse you, you'll be wishing you'd asked about a UL Certification

Are these kind of off brand name portable monitor UL listed and safe to be used?
Unless something has changed in the last few years laptop panels aren't completely standardized. I'm thinking this is just leftover inventory with a controller and outer case slapped on so they can get some use out of them.

I'm kinda torn about the separate folding stand too, but on the bright side, you don't have to worry about a built-in kickstand breaking and possibly causing the screen to fail, too.

Anyone know if I'd be able to hook up Nintendo Switch to this to use as a bigger portable screen?

Edit: Nvm, listing says it could be used for it.
Any game console works GREAT connected to these 1080p portable monitors. You'll just need a mini to HDMI adapter OR mini to standard HDMI cable. I got two 90-degree adapters from Amazon for $8/pr so I can run the cables straight down and use a standard HDMI cable to the consoles. I did have to use a USB-C power block as well because you can't power anything over HDMI like you can USB-C.
