Just checked the APP. Promotion was on the 1st screen, Said to Call or Chat. I called and they hooked me up. $10.00 for the sim card to be sent as I do have an old phone I can pop that into. They said if you don't activate it within a few days by installing the sim card the line will be removed. Great deal OP!

Just managed to activate the line after seeing it in the T-Life app. Costco waived the fee for activation. So now I must wait a year before consolidation is that how the terms work?
Thanks, I saw the offer today when I opened my TLife to get my Tmobile Tuesday stuff. I did not see the offer last week. I did miss the free line offer a few months back.

I did the Costco line and they waived the $10 and placed the order for physical simcard.

I accidentally hung up the phone near the end of the conversation after they placed an order. I hope I can still get the $75 Costco eGift. Is there any way to track the status or promo of this?

Does cancelling home internet line impact any of the free phone lines? Especially, if the home internet was the last line added to the account? Thanks
No, cancellations of voice lines only affect voice line promotions.

Many of us get a lower bill every time another line is added. Even if I didn't use them in any capacity they are not useless.
Agree, more free lines = lower bills. It is technically possible to pay nothing each month, but for most of us it's $10 - $20 a month.

Are you sure ?
I was told by T-mobile customer service rep on the day I called.
On the next day, I received a return call from his manager about this offer. She checked my account and saying she would request this special offer to add to my account since I am a loyal customer for 15 years. She said she would follow up in two or three days but I haven't heard back from her so far.

INFORM: if you are on a plan that has a max 4 lines or N number of lines for a discounted rate, adding this line will mess up your plan qualifications. I added a free line to a plan that I am currently on from about 10 years go, it messed up our billing, coz this new line disrupted the old plan billing logic. Just an FYI. if you get to add a new line, please confirm and let the rep know that this line should only cost 0$ + any protection plan you add + taxes, and not disrupt your existing plan by any other amount.

Same situation but with 8 lines. I love it! My kids now have lines and I have 2 lines with IPADS.

Just got mine…. I was changing my plan and upgrading my phones but on the website at the same Tim and it came up with the promo "since you've been such a loyal member for 3+ years here is a free line. The customer service lady didn't see it and had to look for the promo on my line and said she saw it.

I check some details with T-mobile. They said: If our customer has activated a new free line through the Loyalty BYOD Dec 2025 promotion, canceling any voice line on their account will affect your ability to keep that free line.

I received the free line back in Sept 2025 and talked to an agent and they said it's not available for me for Dec 2025. I would have to wait until next year if this comes up again. Does anyone have luck getting 2nd line for free within the same year? Thanks.

@ $20/mo for 11 lines currently...would adding another free line reduce this even more? How are others getting down to free?
