Amazon strives to offer customers high quality pricing. We have recently seen better prices on Amazon or from other retailers for this product.

Amazon has s telling me it's been cheaper elsewhere.

I paid lots more to get a router with VLAN capability, GT-AXE16000 Pro. I would've snagged this if I could've at this price. I am very happy with mine, but at almost twice the price. I consider this a Slick Deal. Refurbs generally go through more stringent QC than production items.

Can feed multi-gig internet to one computer by wire (or more with a separate 2.5G switch).

Powerful wifi (4x4 on 2.4ghz and both 5ghz but no 6ghz), merlin support, seems like a decent deal if you don't care about wifi 6e or 7 or absolute latest.

I just purchased the "6E" version of this router form Amazon which is even better than this one for $199 brand new, not refurbished.

I just ordered 2 of these to update my old AC5300
That has been a nightmare.
I got the "like new" for 166 I think and 8% back for slow delivery
