No it is not, the 5060 Ti is 8GB, not 16GB.

Negative, you can drop in the last am5 cpu in there and 6060ti or 6070ti with hopefully lower or similar wattage and your good to go . Very upgradeable .

This is an amazing deal as of now. RAM itself is $300, GPU $350, CPU $240. Rest of everything (SSD + Motherboard + PSU + coolers + fans + warranty) are free......

Yeah this seems like the closest to beating the November Cyberpower deal. Still the 1TB less storage and limited 8GB VRAM along with slower RAM, a worse PSU, and being $60 more means that sale is still the best we've seen all season.
I kept that PC, you were very helpful in that post.

Been playing indiana jones and cyberpunk on 2K ULTRA/MAX everything settings except Ray tracing. and its been running nice.

Ray tracing slows things down but didnt see much benefit graphically to care so I dont run with it on

Think I may jump on this. Anyone know of any coupon codes or anything else to bring this down a bit more at checkout?

Just got it today. I checked to ensure it was correct pc, which it is.

I haven't played computer games in 20+ years as I'm a console gamer. I can't believe how many lights are in This thing. Even the ram sticks glow and change colors. Lol

Just picked one of these up for a friend. Opened it up and it came with a single 32GB stick. Not sure if that's a negative or not. Dual channel isn't really an issue now days. But it does look little strange.

Also the CPU being Pcie 4.0 bottlenecks the 5060ti by 3-8%. But not a bad price for what you get.

How future proof is this?
Looking to replace an old computer thats showing its age - I dont know much about them. It's used primarily for work stuff (Zoom, Microsoft suite, some web development stuff) with some light Photoshop and the very rare Adobe Premiere project.
We have a 4 year old who's interested in games, but obviously does not need POWER for quite some time.
Is this a good choice to get our work done, play some games on, and last for 5ish years? Or can I go even cheaper and this is overkill?

Appreciate the data point. The single stick had me nervous. Was going to wait to open mine up but went ahead and I received two sticks. I know dual channel is not as huge of a deal on these DDR5 vs DDR4 but it does still hurt performance a little.

Also just as another data point, I did receive the ASRock B650M-CX as another user said. So it would be a 1 Gbps port.

Would have been easy the best deal of the year with a 16GB 5060 Ti...
Why would you need 16Gb VRAM on 5060ti chip for games? High resolution/settings are too much for this chip. In most of the games you will see no difference.

The biggest thing holding back this machine is the 8 GB on the GPU. To be honest in your case it should not no problem doing the tasks you mentioned for the next several years. Unless you or your son wants to play the most intense games out there at 1440P or 4K you are good.

As for overkill, it could be for you but with the prices of RAM right now and computer prices probably going even higher next year this may be a good bet for you.

Crazy that it is almost cheaper to buy a low-end prebuilt for a RAM upgrade.

Even though I work in IT, I know jack shit about gaming PCs. Sounds like this is a great deal without having to build your own which I don't really want to do.

My son's budget gaming laptop fro 4-5 years ago doesn't play current gen games well at all. Hopefully this plays them just fine (don't need max settings) and it can be upgraded in the future, which sounds like it can be although PSU can be a PITA I'm reading.
RAM prices have made building your own a bit more expensive than buying prebuilt. DDR5 32GB 6000 RAM is $300+ alone. I'd consider your son's gaming needs and then check some benchmarks against those games. I'd expect this build to last a kid 3-5 years as long as they don't mind playing on lower settings.

Not about Christmas demand, RAM skyrocketed with AI and tariffs. With Crucial leaving the game and Samsung's announcement about huge price increase on RAM, I don't expect prices to come down much. I've yet to see deals better than BF and Cyber Monday/week; have you?

My 3060ti struggles with BL4 on mid-settings. 16GB would be a nice buffer to help offset the load a bit. 5060ti isn't a big upgrade and lateral or just a little under the 5070 that is common in many deals.

30% - 50% off electronics? Good luck with that. Walmarts return policy is till Jan 31st, so people can buy now and return if there is a really smoking deal after.

Are you using RT? 5060ti is 80% faster then 3060ti for RT regardless of vram. Dlss4 helps a lot too.

For your use case, an office PC at less than half the cost would be plenty. By the time your 4-year-old is ready for gaming, this will be considered vintage tech.

Bought it then i returned it. The fans on this PC are too loud, plus it has limited front inputs, only 2 USB type A and 1 USB type C. It's also a full size case as well, which is kinda of a waste because it's mostly empty inside. I'd prefer a more compact case to save space.
