I was in Costco South Windsor CT today and they had signs if you buy Costco Gift of Membership you also get $30 Costco shopping card. No idea about other locations but you can call ahead and find out. bulb

So for executive card, do they count as 2 members and can buy six cards total and get six $30 shop cards? I'm wondering if I should buy more for next years renewal.

There is no item number. Each package is unique...they scan the gift membership card barcode so it becomes yours and cannot be returned.

Just go to your account -> renew membership. There is an option to renew using Costco GC or something like that. But u can only renew within 3 months of expiration i recall.

So people said this could be used to extend a membership but my membership doesn't expire until July so I called Costco and they said that there is no expiration and it could be redeemed at any time. Why not buy one each year and just continue to extend the membership for a discounted rate.... or buy several and stock up in case they don't offer it in the future?

Nope. I only bought three to be safe. Didn't want to stock extra wo/ cash cards rewards just for a bag.

Did you get 3 shop cards? I wasn't sure if they would give one for each or if they would limit one per account. Also, I'm pretty sure my local store sold out and didn't get anymore in.. even though it says it's good through Jan 31st. I'm not sure why they supposedly keep the offer going for so long if they don't keep them in stock. I should have bought them when I saw them right before Christmas. I couldn't find any mention of a shop card included if I bought a gifted membership online.

yes. 3 is the limit per membership. just im not sure if 3 is per member account or per family.

My membership expired 8 months ago. How can I get a new membership. I do have multiple email addresses and phone numbers but I have the same name obviously. I'm not paying full price because I mostly use Costco for online purchases like Uber and other gift cards and I read in the details you have to wait 16 months or something like that It's a very new. Has anyone tried the Groupon where there are membership expired but used a different method or email?
