At this price in for 1 for spare air tank. I've had it a couple years. I checked it against some expensive gauge and it was within 1psi. It grips the stem better than anything I have including the old brass round type that needs careful placement or your let out more than goes in. One of my best purchased tools at $10 before. On my other gauge-only tools I sharpie on them eg "reads 3 psi low" yeah it is ugly but I can use them and know what I'm doing. If you're a housewife or like a dude without lots of extra gauges, you can get a decent idea by going to Costco and using their free outside inflator. It's likely reasonable accurate. Second choice would be find your tire pressure screen on your car, it shows inflation pressure of each tire. Sometimes they are off by a few psi but it will let you know if your gauge is in the ballpark. A few psi doesn't matter.

Not sure but I bought one last time they were on sale. Mine reads 10psi with no pressure! 😂

I bought one 12/23 and used it a lot. It leaked out of the box at the release button and that was an easy fix. A few months ago the gauge jumped up to 15 with no air so I've been using it knowing it was 15# high. Instead of buying a new pressure gauge it was roughly the same price to just buy another complete unit.

Oh, and if you are left handed, you will be looking at the back of the gauge or have to hold it upside down. The gauge is attached with some solid anaerobic sealant that dries hard. If you want to reposition or spin the gauge for a better view, you will have to completely remove it, clean it up and reseal it yourself.

I bought this several months ago when it was on sale. I've been very very happy with it. I would definitely recommend to anyone who thinks they need. For this price you can't go wrong.

It needs to connect a digital inflator, right?

It needs something with that quick disconnect style hose on it. I don't remember if it unscrews to connect to a different hose style. A cheap home inflator hose might not have standard fitting on it or cause you grief to buy an adapter fittings. If you have a digital inflator why would you need this come to think of it? Oops I see it comes with the screw connection, I switched it to the QD so long ago I forgot.

I want to use it to check water heater expansion tank but think an additional air compressor may be necessary to connect it, right?
