I ended up using the Google Fi deal with a referral code which took off $120 instead of $180 since I was a customer anway - I just learned from another user that if you enable "Allow CPNI sharing" in settings on Fi acct you can get the existing customer deals direct from the Google Store without buying from the Fi store.
Now if you are not a customer you could sign up with a BYOD plan on the Flexible, you could use a friend code to get $60 (starts 2nd month) and then you will see existing customers deals soon (wait at least 24 hours before making any purchase, some say you have to wait 21 days but I think that is BS). Then enable the "Allow CPNI sharing" and buy the deal with a Store referral code (use account you have not purchased from store with)
I realize this takes time but there will be an S26 Pre-Order deal coming up and since its owned by Google , I am sure there will be more Pixed deals - like I said , the process should take 1-3 weeks. You would have to keep the sim active during the promo period in the phone but you can still use the second sim for carrier of your choice
So what would cost of service cost (even if you do not use it)
$20*4 = $80 - $60 referral code = $20 plus any data you use and taxes
I use dual sim so I dont rely on Fi for data because it gets expensive
