I have never done TurboTax online. Will I be able to import my last year's TurboTax to the online version? Oh, and how about the other way around if later I want to switch back to downloaded version?

Wait what?!? I don't have that amount and I got it free 2 years and this year I got the screen saying free Turbotax available mid Jan. what?

Unless the online version is totally free, dont think you can get the downloadable version. At least that is how it worked past years.

Not true. You can still get the 25/30% off on the downloadable version. Just go to File My Taxes and then look for something like TurboTax Download.

I'm seeing TT download Federal + 1 state = $49

Had the 30% offer from Fidelity. The site will drive you to the online version, but you can navigate to your account profile and then find the downloadable products from there.

Where is this "account profile"?

I found "Profile", but there is nothing there to download Turbotax.

On the TurboTax site, click File Your Taxes on the top of the page, and then TurboTax Desktop is one of the choices. No need to go to your profile or anything else.
