After using many 4ah over the years, I finally picked up 4 of these last year. The extra runtime is great to have when running fans and lights. This is a good price for a 2 pack.

It's not a good price.

The HP batteries are often available at $10/ah, so $120 for 2x 6ah.

True, but that's a different deal. Does not diminish this deal. Not every one has enough tools to require 6 batteries.

Disagree, its use dependant. When running the leaf blower the 1.5, 2, and even 4 ah's simply dont cut it... no one wants to swap batteries 4-5 times.
If youre just using a drill or whatnot sure the cheaper per AH small batteries are great.

Basically anything that is stationary, the largest ah is beneficial

I run mainly drills and small tools with the 12-20V systems. for the blowers I switched to 80V and have not looked back. The larger batteries are quite heavy and throw the balance of the tool off.

Yes, they are a unicorn and have not been seen in a long time. Not sure they will make a comeback with the edge batteries.

At some point you need to consider a higher voltage systems, like 40 V or 80 V systems. They are just so much better at those tasks. For a home gamer stationary tools can be wired as their power and value cannot be beat.

2 of the 6 are non-HP batteries. Not every one has the need for 6 batteries at one time.
