Have this and it works fine for your basic electrical work. Would recommend for $11.

I have many different kinds of wire strippers. Many. It is just one of those things that I get specific tools for specific jobs and I use them daily.

I have a pair of these I bought in 2016 (paid $10.06 on a coupon deal) that I've used at least weekly since then. I use them for automotive wiring and connectors.

Notably, these things crimp insulated 3M spade connectors like nothing else. This is not a unique shape for wire strippers, but this particular pair just has a perfect shape where it isn't too hard to squeeze and does a great job every time.

They're not my favorite for stripping wire, but they're certainly functional. They're not insulated - they didn't claim to be but I learned that the hard way anyway. But they're a great tool and have held up well for me.

Thanks for the info. What's your favorite for stripping wire? 14 gauge...
