You have to actually visit the promo code page link. I copied and pasted the promo code and that DID NOT work for me. You have to actually click and follow the promo link and add it to your cart (or have it added before) and then the promo works. That's how it worked for me anyway.

however, if the surface isn't perfectly flat and smooth, the adhesion of the base is poor.
After this, I bought a different version from them that can stick onto a slightly curved surface, but the magnet adhesion was worse, lol. I guess you can't expect both at this price point.
But for the price, and if you have a flat surface, I highly recommend this

I have the same question, I have a "magsafe" case for an Android phone. Wondering if the magnet would be strong enough for that. I have an older magnet holder now, from before magsafe was a thing, it came with little metal plates to stick to your phone. It holds the plates great, but only kinda sorta holds the magsafe case. Any major bumps or sharp turns and the phone falls off.

I use this phone holder with my android phone with massage case. Its compatible with both iPhone and android with magsafe case. Magnets are very strong but I have it mounted jn the shower.
