Do men actually wear Sambas? Serious question. I only see teenage girls wearing them. My daughter goes through them like toothbrushes.
Yes, just saw a couple men wearing them yesterday

Really? I have never seen a grown man (post college grad) wear Jordans either, except at the gym of course.

Those of us who do have been wearing them since we played indoor soccer in high school and learned they were the most comfortable shoe in the world.

OK thanks for a finally honest answer. It honestly does not look comfortable but I will trust your real world experience. I walk around in running shoes. They are ugly af but comfortable to me. They are not nearly as fashionable as these Sambas.

Adidas samba are definitely not comfortable and have almost no cushioning. For a good lifestyle shoe that's way more comfortable check out brooks chariot

I don't know what the difference between this OG vs indoor soccer. Im currently wearing the indoor soccer ones for about 1 year and replaced the insoles with dr scholls plantar fasciitis before my trip to japan. It did great in japan last month. Walked 15k-25k steps a day for 3.5 weeks. Durability wise, minimal wear on the bottom of my soles, scraped the toe box area a lot on stairs and still no separation of the gum or stitching from creases. Definitely dirty since its white, but expected especially after walking up mt misen in miyajima island.

The indoor soccer ones usually have the long tongue you can fold over

Eh, women's fashion is going through its Adidas, Veja, and those crazy expensive "Goose" sneaker phase. I won't even look up the name, you don't need them

Sambas were traditionally a male shoe and IMO will always be. Part of why I like men's fashion is it's a lot less fickle. Women borrow our trends and even our names, it's been going on forever. I'm not offended.

In for a pair, my favorite colors.

If you live in a major city anywhere in the US, you would know Jordans have been a streetwear staple. They aren't as trendy now as they were a few years ago but, just like Air Force 1, Dunks, Air Max, New Balance 990s, etc, etc., they have become a staple in men's streetwear/casual fashion.

I live in the 4th largest city. I hardly ever see grown men (25+) wear basketball shoes as staple footwear. I don't live in the suburbs. I have also traveled frequently to city 1 through 3 and don't see it there either. Are we sure we are talking about truly grown men? Not manchild?

You live in Houston and don't see men wearing Jordans? As someone who is in Houston quite a bit for work, that is a blatant lie. Go to any Astros or Rockets game or out to the bars in Montrose and you'll see plenty of guys wearing Jordans.
