Those of us who do have been wearing them since we played indoor soccer in high school and learned they were the most comfortable shoe in the world.

Yes, just saw a couple men wearing them yesterday
Women are wearing them now since they introduced dozens of new colorways in the last few years, instead of just the old school black bulky ones - and these are more comfortable and do last. These are also more cushy and durable than the Puma (King [narrow toe box], OG [hard soles]) or Nike (Tiempo [super narrow], Gato [funky/flashy, also narrow]). My 16yo son wore these Sambas everyday for over a month playing soccer on blacktop, walking miles everyday on our travels, and they held up nicely, so they are actually functional as soccer shoes and everyday shoes.

You live in Houston and don't see men wearing Jordans? As someone who is in Houston quite a bit for work, that is a blatant lie. Go to any Astros or Rockets game or out to the bars in Montrose and you'll see plenty of guys wearing Jordans.
>Dude, go to a basketball game. You'll see plenty of basketball shoes there!

Really good comment. Wow

I just asked an adult teenager girl. She said no men she would be interested in wear Sambas. But I am not judging. You do you.
wait... you see a 30+ year old dude wearing some sambas he's had for 10+ years and your first thought is if an "adult teenager girl" would be interested?

Bought pairs several years ago on sales for around $30. I guess they become trendy, popular again and price gets increased. I only bought them since Nike killshots I considered overpriced and sambas were cheaper alternative

They've been the same MSPR roughly for a long time. Like $95. If you got them for $30 several years ago, that was a good deal.
Sambas are unique because they're an inexpensive shoe that is made from real leather and has much better construction compared to similarly priced Nikes.

I wear my Samba ADVs quite often. They took a while to break in. I wore them inside the house to get use to them, but it was painful to wear longer than a few hours. Eventually after a month or so they finally got broken in and I can pretty much wear them all day. With that said it's definitely not the most comfortable shoe, but I wear them often since I practice soccer at work and randomly with my kids. I also have a pair of Nike Gato and Streetgato and they are way more comfortable off the bat. All work well practicing soccer or futsal on hard surfaces though they don't hold a candle to real futsal shoes if that's the purpose.

Sambas have been a staple in the soccer community long before they became trendy.

Been wearing them since high school and still wear them in adulthood
