I have the non-pro PerL earbuds. I got them for about $50 on sale more than a year ago, and the sound quality you get for that much money is incredible .

The large disc shaped earbuds provide a nice big surface for touch controls.

That being said, I can totally see how the fit and size may not agree with a lot of users.

I haven't tried these, but they get recommended for sound quality quite often.

Great sound quality but had to return.

My Son has the Pro pearls and Sony xm5 and Samsung. Likes these better for sound.

Pearls Pros are less stable then the Samsung's.

Sony also haven't held up as long as the other two but the noise cancelling is exceptional.

So if sound is what you are after these are great.

I have this paired with my Samsung phone. Fantastic sound quality and zero pairing issues for me. Highly recommend as I bought them new last year.
