No, it should be less. The tablet is already 3 months of data, so don't need to pay more for it. The phones can switch to $35 / mo plan for 2nd month, so just $70 more. So total $190 unlocked after 2 months.

Similarly,
some people might have this in their Amex Offers:
Straight Talk - Smartphones, Prepaid Plans & More
Spend $45 or more, earn $20

1 phone + 1 tab is $90 (+ tax)
2 phones + 1 tab is $120 (+ tax)

Tab comes with 3 month service and it is already unlocked
For the phones, We need another 1 month service. We can use $35 bronze plan to unlock it

Amex $20 back /Chase 15% has offers

(Very few people has success with buying Walmart $25 Straight Talk top up card & there are some, who rebranded the phone to Tracfone and then bought 90 days plan for $20 and unlocked the phone)

Tab promotion is limited to one per account

If you have all the port out info, you can port it out after the service ends (but do it before the PIN expires)
Thank you so much! However, do I need to reactive it first with Straight Talk with some plan? When I searched the Straight Talk website trying to double confirm, it says
***Your Straight Talk phone number MUST be active in our system.***
Link ---> https://support.straighttalk.com/...q/3096972/
I wonder if I port it out on Day 60, will the phone still be unlocked on Day 61. Or do I need to extend the service beyond 60 days for a successful port out.
Anyone who can share experience?
Thanks.

Someone mentioned in another deal that ST has a one week extension plan, I'd contact support and see how much it is.

It was mentioned it's only available by contacting support, they don't put all the "special" plans on the website.

Thank you so much for the information. I found this on ST website. It seems it's $13 now?

Other deals say it was $10 but it could have changed, call & ask.

Isn't the unlocking policy changed? The Wiki Board still had it at 2 months.

FCC rules that Verizon does not have to UNLOCK phone after 60 days. Not good for those of us that recently got these phones!
Yup, first time ever that I purchased one of these MVNO deals and got screwed LMAOLMAOLMAO

If your purchase date was in advance of the FCC decision you should still be grandfathered under the 60 day policy - this was explicit in the terms of the deal as announced.

I purchased in December but couldn't activate my lines till January 18th which was the deadline (Stupid ST would not accept the 14 digit account number that Boost had for port out). Are you saying I can still activate and be done with it after 2 months?

Looks like you'd have to fight for it - the fine print from Verizon says the FCC decision impacts "all handsets that become active" after the date of the FCC decision.

Your purchase date was fine but the delay in activation could cost you.

If it was just a port issue weren't you running on temporary numbers while waiting for the Boost thing to be worked out? I think that would be a different story

Which is supposed to be the date, the date they took the decision or the date officially released it?
I have a line that says activation was 01/13/2026, should I go for the second month to get it unlocked?

No, it was an extra number that I had on Boost - not primary. But the number was good and I wanted to keep using it Frown so I entered the loop of "Port out pin and account number" => "Invalid Account Number" ....

I'm not sure how hard you should fight. When customer service says "no" the strongest resource used to be a complaint to the FCC but that does no good in this scenario.

Some folks got unlocked by claiming they were going to travel overseas - if you've had delays and breaks in service I'm not sure if that path will make sense in a call to customer service.

That sucks - I'm hoping my gear automatically unlocks on 2/28 but if not I'll have to contact customer service myself - I paid the second month with no break in service but I'm not really using the phones - the hotspot I could have used was too slow for my location.
