Unlocking a cellphone associated with one of Verizon Value's brands refers to disabling software that would otherwise prevent you from activating the cellphone on another carrier's network. However, due to different carrier technologies, an unlocked Verizon Value cellphone may not work, or may experience limited functionality, on another carrier's network. Verizon Value is not responsible for any limitations of service, or otherwise, resulting from the use of an unlocked cellphone on another provider's network. Verizon Value is unable to unlock Non-Verizon Value branded cellphones using Verizon Value service (BYOP).
For customers with cellphones capable of remote unlocking (this includes most iPhones and some Android cellphones):
Verizon Value will remotely unlock the phone when it becomes eligible for unlocking, provided it meets the following conditions:
The cellphone must be in working condition and turned ON.
The cellphone has not been reported stolen or lost and there are no indicators of fraud.
The cellphone was activated with Verizon Value service by purchasing and redeeming an airtime plan on that specific phone ("Activation")
For all cellphones Activated prior to November 23, 2021 on any carrier network and all cellphones Activated on the T-Mobile or AT&T networks on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked upon customer request after twelve (12) months of active paid service.
For all cellphones Activated on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically 60 days after paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service.

Mine still shows not eligible. I entered the phone number as it doesn't have a field for IMEI.
Came home yesterday evening 2026-02-27 and it showed unlocked,
was not eligible yet when I checked the day before
Some folks got unlocked by claiming they were going to travel overseas - if you've had delays and breaks in service I'm not sure if that path will make sense in a call to customer service.
That sucks - I'm hoping my gear automatically unlocks on 2/28 but if not I'll have to contact customer service myself - I paid the second month with no break in service but I'm not really using the phones - the hotspot I could have used was too slow for my location.

Just a quick update - because my service days started prior to the phones being shipped and activated I was nervous that things would not unlock at all - my service ran out a few days before the "sixty days post-activation" component of the terms. Anyway - I panicked and called the unlocking number in advance of the system's calculated magic date. They told me I cannot port out any numbers if service was not active but their system WOULD unlock the phones. The telephone rep predicted March 4 based on his reading of the internal system. The "magic" actually happened at some point on March 5 - no cell service activated - phones powered on and connected to WiFi - no need to reboot the phones or stick in a non-VZ sim card. The unlocking web site was useless - it said my devices were not eligible even after they unlocked.
I'm happy with the overall deal - the money and time spent and the value of what I got for buying all that phone service - I stayed on Silver for both months with no break, just to be safe.
I'm not that 'slick' when I'm on SD - I don't resell anything I just keep spare phones that can make use of these affordable phone services - I work with welfare-level people who are totally screwed if they lose their government lifeline devices.
Thanks to all and we are entering a new era for those who liked to buy service and get subsidized phone devices.

My 2x stylus 1month ST+1month TF esim aren't unlocking, Originally activated12/31-1/02 and 2nd month was 02/02. I contacted livechat, but they are saying IMEI1 and IMEI2 or 2 different activation dates.

I also did 2nd month Tracfone esim, but I didn't keep the ST sim.
