I don't think this is a good option at all. For a game as advanced as iracing, just save for something that provides an upgrade path like a moza r3 or something similar. Yes it's more expensive, but if you're set on iracing (which is a professional grade simulator) then it's a serious wheel that will make the experience decent. Even a G920/G923 isn't reasonable for iracing, in my experience. This wheel is ok for games like F1 25 and Forza Motorsport, games with more arcade-style handling. These pedals are simply too trash to provide a good experience for a game with a more advanced handling model because those handling models require precise inputs from braking to properly handle the car.

There is a reason that this costs $138 and other wheel setups cost upwards of $1200. I recently switched from a g920 to a direct drive wheel and load cell pedals, and the difference is night and day. I was immediately faster, so the right equipment can really make you faster; it's not just skill to be fast.

As a casual iracing and assetto corsa player, i use a G920 for so im not sure why it isnt reasonable for Iracing. No issues with it. Picked it up on slick deals a few weeks ago and got the shifter knob with it too.

I take it back, G920 is decent for iracing, and I used it for upwards of 7 years. But after switching to direct drive, it's truly night and day. Trust me, it's a completely revolutionary experience that makes it so so much better. This thrustmaster is a tier below the G920, so I don't believe the iracing experience would be great, especially looking at those pedals.

Where's a good site to learn if you want to make your own racing simulator? Is it typically pc driven or Xbox/ps. If possible I'd like to have a variety of driving games. Fun is the most important quality vs reality.
