You can apply Amazon digital credits to save even more (YMMV). However it only applies to the "normal" listing; NOT the GC offer.

TT strongly pushes Premier and Home & Business but the fact is that TT Deluxe can handle every situation that these more expensive versions can. The only exception that I am aware of is the ability to create W2 and 1099 forms for employees in H&B.
Deluxe has everything for all investment types, everything for owners of rental properties, everything for self-employed (1099-NEC/Schedule C filers), everything for those who do itemized deductions.
The higher versions offer more guidance but Deluxe has all the forms required and will still walk you through all of it.
Note that Turbotax Online is completely different, Deluxe Online is purposely limited forcing more complex returns to use the more expenisve Online versions than Deluxe.

So, might be worth looking into a professional to do taxes for you, as my total is $55 more to do my own taxes with only a W-2 and some 1099-INTs. Also, it sucks that free file is income limited on the IRS website (you know, the place I'm paying all these taxes to), as I would love to take advantage of that, and I really don't understand the rationalization (I suppose good lobbying leads to irrational policy, or at least consumer unfriendly policies) to make it income based.
Most professionals are going to charge much more than that to prepare and file your taxes.
I would love to be wrong about this.
For those of us not buying apps, ebooks or renting videos this can add up to a nice little discount.

In terms of Turbotax Desktop/Download (the deal being discussed here), it will completely handle 1099-NEC self-employment income and generate the complete schedule C.

"Yes, the TurboTax Deluxe Desktop (CD/Download) version supports 1099-NEC for reporting self-employment income. It allows you to enter 1099-NEC data, which flows to a Schedule C for reporting nonemployee compensation. While you can enter income, TurboTax desktop provides the forms-based view necessary to handle related business expenses. "
"Desktop vs. Online: Unlike the Deluxe Online version, which often requires an upgrade for self-employment, the Desktop/CD version can handle 1099-NEC."
I read in another thread that the Fidelity deal also works with Chase cards.
Edit: it does allow for download for $49 for deluxe, just forces you to sign in your TT account. so, $49 - $20 amex = $29 and and then used BOA $25 - $20 = $5 to pay for e-file for a state. Makes it $29 + $5 = $34.

And warehouse clubs are a Discover 5X bonus category this quarter.
Chase is scaled because it's a % deal. To get $20 max you'll need to make a purchase of $66.66.
If you want to share your code with someone else you would need to share those credential with them as well.
Fidelity is most likely Online version and not desktop download.
It has other products from TurboTax also with $10 gift card on the intuit store for Amazon
