OP found a good deal on Fuji apples, and you came here to tell us you recently bought a giant sumo orange on sale?

I'm not sure many people can get a 98" TV on their computer desk. Strange comparison.

Quote from PTrackrBob :
Agree, I think a 39" Ultrawide 1440p is the sweet spot currently. With GPU prices the way they are (not to mention RAM), most won't be able to fully saturate the capabilities of a 4k monitor with a high refresh rate, let alone a 5k2k monitor. I have a 45" Ultrawide 1440p and my graphics card (5070ti) is beautiful on it. This is my first Ultrawide and I also won't go back. If I could do it again I would get a 39" over my 45", however I got the 45" for less than what the 39" was going for. 1440p is the sweet spot for my equipment with gaming and at 45" the ppi isn't as crisp on text. These monitors can only be as good as the GPU and system feeding it. If your GPU can't hit 4k 165hz, then you won't fully take advantage of this monitor.
Sounds like we both got lg oleds. I wanted the 45 but when I got mine in sept the 45 (1440) was still crazy expensive. Then prices fell through the floor by black Friday. I saw the 45 for less than my 39 and almost picked it just because. But the 39 is plenty.
