These monitors can only be as good as the GPU and system feeding it. If your GPU can't hit 4k 165hz, then you won't fully take advantage of this monitor.

Sounds like we both got lg oleds. I wanted the 45 but when I got mine in sept the 45 (1440) was still crazy expensive. Then prices fell through the floor by black Friday. I saw the 45 for less than my 39 and almost picked it just because. But the 39 is plenty.
