We've gotten some bargain shelving like this from Amazon - kind of regret not sticking with the ones we'd been getting from Costco.
Check the dimensions of these - like the ones that disappointed us, they're pretty shallow. 13.4". One drawback with that is they don't combine with our other parts (to create more & shorter shelves, or connect a pair with shared legs in the middle).
It's harder to gauge and probably less of a drawback in most cases, but the ones we got are also significantly less sturdy. The ones we got are Basics brand, and rated for 350lbs per shelf: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0A4B9M?th=1
They really don't look nearly that strong, and I can't imagine what "200 lbs" would look like on that same measure. But for most regular storage, they're strong enough. Probably not for those Walmart weights though!
13" is very narrow. Standard shelves are 17". Unless you're anchoring it to the wall, it's going to topple. Also, the shelves are not flat, so it's impossible to put anything that isn't flat (e.g bottles).

If only there was something light weight, stiff enough, pliable and able to be formed into any shape or size.... it could be made of thick paper... or card stock.... like a plywood board but card stock material... they could call it "cardboard" .... imagine the possibilities!! *storage shelf sales man slaps storage shelf with this so called "cardboard" installed* You could fit so many bottles on that bad boy

I have 470lbs of bumper plates, according to the infographic this should hold 'em. We'll see... 😝
