Many of you who have the CHASE INK card are aware of the $20 monthly credit towards an instacart pickup or delivery order (I typically do pick up at ALDI for my $20, I spend $35 to avoid fee and pay $15 oop rather than pay $5 in fees and get nothing for it by spending less than $35).

Anyway, many of you also know if you link your CHASE INK card at INSTACART, you get three free months of Instacart+ with the initial linkage of the card to your account.

I first linked my card in late September 2024, in December 2024, when my 3 months were almost up I was offered a $19.99 special to get the Instacart+ for a year, which was a no brainer with the free $20 credit each month from Chase Ink and Peacock service.

My one year was up on 12/26/25 and I cancelled it about 12/12 after I did my December grocery order with the $20 credit.

This week I signed in to my account and once again it offered me the $19.99 special for INSTACART+ for a year. So now I have it once again with all the perks I mentioned above.

So if you've recently cancelled with a situation like mine where your discounted year was up, take a look to see if you can score it again for $19.99 for one year. Worth that alone for the Peacock, the $240 in free groceries is a major windfall over the course of a year.

Yes! You'll get a 14 day free trial and then they'll charge you 19.99 for a FULL YEAR at the end of 14 days. CONFIRMED by me. You'll have access to PEACOCK and your $20 Ink Chase credit to use immediately upon accepting.

It should show a price somewhere, make sure you see the $19.99 offer. don't pay $100.
I wonder if it matters to get the offer by fake canceling during the free period.
Anyone try that?

I believe the trial continues until it expires, even if you cancel in advance.

You're lookin' at around a 25% markup, sometimes more, with Instacart versus in-store prices.
Unless you're packin' a 30% discount, Instacart ain't worth the trouble since you add in the service fee, delivery fee, and so on...

Aldi at most is 5-10% higher on SOME items, some items are the same. You also earn 5% back in Instacart rewards on the order which offsets a lot of it. I posted about doing pick up, no tipping, no service fee on $35+ order. In some areas they offer special on certain items that are CHEAPER than shopping yourself.

Even if you get the deal at $20 a year just for the Peacock Streaming, it's a great deal.

Some people shouldn't post on deal sites who have no understanding of the concept of a 'deal'. SMH

I have been doing this for 8 months already. Currently have CIC, CIU and Aeroplan cards on account so I'm getting $20, $20 and $10 credit each month (3 orders).

I do Walmart delivery (in-store prices), no rush ($2 credit) and tip $2. Comes out to about $5 per order that I pay out of pocket for $20, $20 or $10 worth of groceries.

My trial is ending soon. Any way to extend?

I clicked Activate and got "The Instacart+ benefit from this card has already been redeemed. To redeem this offer again, an Instacart+ membership is required." Makes perfect sense.

There's a number of stores in most markets that will be on there featuring no markup pricing.

I never said I tried to get the Instacart+ benefit from the card (Three months again) I said when I logged in, I was offered the year of Instacart for $19.99 again, please try reading what I wrote. I said all along getting the $19.99 offer was a YMMV situation. I never said you could activate the card benefit for a second time.

No worries, I read you wrong. just thought it was odd that it says an Instacart+ membership is required to redeem the offer for an Instacart+ membership.

They offered me 3 months on instacart+ for free with entering a Mastercard. Cannot use the perks from Germany other than Peacock.

Didn't even have to activate the trial offer to get the $20 credit it looks like.

Only using this for Peacock lol. The only time ever ordered using InstaC was when Costco had the $300 Dyson 15 vacuum combining with Insta 30% off gift cards.

Here in New Jersey it runs between 15 and 25% higher according to the item. I have noticed dairy items are on the higher side. So you're not really getting the full $20 discount compared to going into the store and buying it directly. Basically 16 to $17 worth of food is going to be charged at $20 through instacart. And the additional $15 approximately that you purchased to make the $35 minimum to not have service charges would cost you about 12 to $13 in store

Did you try linking the card at Instacart? Do that and see what happens on INSTACART (not Chase) The credit applies in the instacart cart during an order, not as a statement credit on your Visa bill.

What really makes this an even better deal is that it works if you have Instacart gift cards. It isn't uncommon for 15-20% off Instacart gift cards to show up. When you add those gift cards to your account, when you go to pay for an Instacart order, you can still select your Chase Ink card to get the $20 off promo, and the balance is paid with the Instacart gift card credit.

I've been doing Aldi pickups this way, and frequently get ~$30 worth of groceries ($35 according to Instacart to get to fee-free pickups) for maybe about $13 of actual out of pocket factoring in the $20 off and the gift card deals. Oh, and I save time vs going in store

Had no idea. How to get peacock for free with ink.

update: I must have activated this offer using my CIU long time back, but never made use of it, probably forgot after activating. I just added my CIC now, and I see the 3 months offer again activated. This time I will make use of the $20/m insta offer and already activated peacock too. ill cancel few days before it ends.
