not worth it. buy 5600 + am4 +ddr4.
in my preference a 5500 would be better since it's $75 at new egg + new egg recently had a deal for a motherboard and free 16 gb of ddr 4 Corsair ram so am4 is still great

Maybe they changed the combo, but it comes with an MSI MAG Coreliquid A13 240 AIO. Not the Cooler Master. Either way the addition of the AIO makes us a pretty solid deal.

5500 is dog shit. 5500 is a cuck CPU with half the L3 cache and PCIE 3.0. If you plan on doing anything beyond very light gaming, browsing and streaming, 5600 is superior.

Different use case. It would work fine for a budget build and assuming you plan on using it for gaming an older card under $250 like an Arc B580 is probably a good match for its capabilities. Although yes even a 5600 would be a big improvement. This 9600x is for modern 60/70 class cards and above or older 80 class cards, up to the 5080 (which is essentially a 5070 Ti Super). X3D CPUs are ideal, but they're double the price (factoring in AIO and AAAwave OEM)for an AM5 compatible 7800X3D which won't make a massive difference unless you have a 5070 Ti or higher, or plan on using it at 1080p.
